These are songs I've written over the years and played at various church gatherings and/or jams. They are the product of the intermingling of daily life, private prayer, community worship and sometimes sleepless nights.

how to use this site:

Listen to them here or use the catalog link to find a particular song's page; from that page you can see /download the sheet music, lyrics, listen to the song in several formats, and download files if you desire. There is an "as written" midi-based audio file that matches the sheet music version exactly, with the vocal part filled in with wind or stringed instruments (could be used as accompaniment). The "performance example" audio files have vocals and deviate in minor ways from the arrangements in the written sheet music. They reflect how I first wrote and played the songs (on the guitar); they are the original sources of the written arrangements.

So if you find anything in these pages helpful, please feel free to download and use... just be mindful of the limits of the Creative Common licencing terms: use with attribution (BY); no commercial use (NC); and any derivative use must also be publicly licensed under the same terms (SA).

I support Open Source software projects and use (Musescore) for notation, (Ardour) for audio recording, Brave & Firefox etc., running on Linux OS (Zorin, Ububtu, Kubuntu). If you are finding notation in need of correction or lyrics are missing words please email me at mjwpsalms@gmail.com.
