14. Water to Wine

1.Lord turn this water to wine.  

take what is weak now, and make it strong

And though we’re scattered, and battered, and limping along

help us rise up and sing a New Song.

Like in Cana of old Galilee,

when Mother Mary requested a sign;

for a family in trouble---  a banquet undone,

and Jesus turned their water to wine.

So come Spirit,  now

light a fire in our hearts one more time;

And so fill us   with mercy,   your love  and your power

that you change our water to wine.

2. Lord come turn this water to wine! 

 we  are weak now, but You make us strong

And though we’re scattered, and tattered, and limping along

  help us stand -up and sing Your New Song. 

And if we're nearing the end of the road

then let it be ... a beautiful ride.

And so as we struggle today, give us strength Lord we pray

to keep walking with you by our side.

So come Spirit, now

light a fire in our hearts one more time;

And so fill us   with mercy,   your love,  and your power

that you change this water to wine.
